Digital Art Teacher
Description: My CT in my High School placement, purchased a subscription to the Digital Art Teacher website for this school year, and we both learned so much from this website.
Rationale: This website is so useful for teachers teaching a Digital Art Class or just teaching any art class remotely. My CT and I both spent hours exploring all of the resources within this website/blog. Most of the materials require a Photoshop subscription, however, we found that Photopea worked almost identical to a later version of Photoshop, and we followed along on tutorials using this free internet-based program. I learned so many useful tools from this site from teaching copyright rules to teaching color theory and the color wheel using photoshop/photopea.

E-Learning
Description: Planning for a Remote Art Club
Rationale: Myself and another teacher here at the middle school run an after school art club. While we have not had art club this school year because of the pandemic and kids going through so many back and forth changes, we have been planning to have a remote art club after we return from holiday break when hopefully kids are more used to this schedule. The planning for this art club has been a lot more involved than I originally thought, just logistic wise, what we are going to do, how we can get kids to join at home, and what we are going to be doing in art club. We decided to hold on Google Classroom since this is the platform our school uses anyway. As of right now we just have a lot saved as drafts in the Classroom.
